The Office of International Programs (OIP) invites the UNC Charlotte community to celebrate the University’s commitment to international education and global learning during International Education Week, November 13 – November 17.  International Education Week is a collaborative effort between the U.S. Departments of Education and State and celebrates our human diversity, intercultural connections, and cultural understanding. During International Education Week, participants can expect globally-focused dialogue, lectures from experts in the field, performances from diverse cultures and so much more. UNC Charlotte plays a special role in shaping awareness as we proudly serve a diverse student, faculty and staff population.

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is seeking a Faculty Fellow on Generative AI to begin service in Spring 2024.  Tenured faculty members who specialize in applying generative AI in teaching and learning, and are willing to serve in a leadership role to advance the institution’s AI initiatives are invited to apply for the fellowship program to champion ways for faculty to integrate generative AI across the curriculum. The duration of the fellowship is January 10 to May 15, 2024 and includes a $5000 stipend. The faculty fellow would be expected to contribute an average of approximately four to five hours per week to this campus initiative, including participation in meetings and events.
